Rectangular flags for clean, formal branding
Rectangular flags use a straight-sided panel rather than the curved sail of a feather or teardrop. The square format keeps logos, blocks of text and wayfinding information readable, which makes it the usual choice for corporate branding, exhibition stands, showrooms, forecourts, venue entrances and retail interiors.
Also known as hanging flags or sail banner flags — same product, different trade names.
📏 Sizes
- Small — 2.1m — indoor use, low ceilings, retail floors and pavements
- Medium — 3.1m — exhibition stands, showrooms and shop fronts
- Large — 4.1m — large halls, entrances and outdoor sites
Rectangular flags use a different pole set from our feather and teardrop kits, so these heights don't match those ranges. If you're measuring against a ceiling or an overhead obstruction, or replacing an existing flag, send us your pole height and we'll confirm the right size before you order.

Bases are selected separately below, so you can match the fixing to where the flag is going.
🖨️ Single or double-sided print
Single-sided prints one face, with the design showing through in mirror on the reverse. Double-sided uses two printed layers around a block-out liner so both faces read the right way round. The rectangular shape gives the largest uninterrupted print area of any flag, so double-sided is often worth it here.
⚓ Choosing a base
- Cross base — indoor use and sheltered hard standing
- Rotating ground spike — grass and soft ground
- 25kg water base — outdoor hard standing, fill on site and empty for transport
- 30kg moulded tyre base — the most stable option for exposed positions
- Car roll-over base — sits under a vehicle wheel, for forecourts and car parks
🏢 Exhibiting at a venue?
Venues often set rules on stand dressing height and fire rating. Check your exhibitor manual before ordering — most publish a maximum height for anything on a shell scheme stand. Fire-rated material and certification are available on request. Tell us the venue and show and we'll help you specify something that passes and lands in time.

Free artwork layout and proofing on every order. Keep important text and logos within a 50mm safe area from the edge. We accept PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, JPEG and PNG — set up in CMYK, images at 100ppi at 100% print size.
🌱 Materials
Printed by water-based dye sublimation on recycled polyester. Machine washable, weatherproof and made in the UK.
